Project Manager / Contracts Manager

Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 depending on experience

Location: Head Office - Kings Lynn - Remote

Our client is a growing business delivering projects across the food & beverage, warehousing, logistics and industrial sectors.

They are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager / Contracts Manager to take responsibility for key customer relationships and manage projects from initial concept through to successful completion.

This is a senior role within the business, offering the opportunity to play an important part in both project delivery and the continued growth of the company.

The Role

You will take ownership of projects from initial discussions and concept through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, commercially and to the required standards.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing projects from initial concept through to completion
• Taking responsibility for key customer relationships
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
• Managing the commercial aspects of projects, including budgets, costs and profitability
• Planning and co-ordinating labour, materials and wider project resources
• Managing project programmes and ensuring key deadlines are achieved
• Working closely with internal teams, customers, suppliers and subcontractors
• Managing Health & Safety and compliance across projects
• Ensuring company procedures and processes are followed and implemented across the wider team
• Identifying and managing project risks, issues and potential variations
• Supporting the business in identifying additional opportunities with existing customers
• Helping to build and maintain long-term customer relationships that lead to repeat business and future projects
• Providing regular updates on project progress, commercial performance and any key issues
• Reporting directly to the Managing Director

About You

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager or Contracts Manager who combines strong project delivery and commercial management skills with the ability to build excellent customer relationships.

Experience within the food & beverage, warehousing, logistics and industrial sectors is essential.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience managing projects from concept through to completion
• Strong commercial and financial awareness
• Experience managing labour, resources, suppliers and subcontractors
• Excellent customer relationship and communication skills
• Good understanding of Health & Safety and compliance requirements
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• A proactive, hands-on approach to project management
• The confidence to deal directly with customers and senior stakeholders
• Experience identifying opportunities for additional and repeat business
