Project Officer – Renters Right’s Act

We're recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority seeking an experienced Project Officer to support the implementation of the Renters' Rights Act. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering one of the biggest changes to housing legislation in recent years.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the Renters' Rights Act implementation programme
- Provide specialist housing advice and legislative guidance
- Develop policies, procedures and project documentation
- Monitor project progress and produce reports
- Work closely with Housing Options teams and key stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with housing legislation and best practice
- Experience within Housing or Homelessness services
- Strong knowledge of the Renters' Rights Act and Homelessness Reduction Act 2017
- Previous project delivery experience
- Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills
- Confident producing reports and analysing data
