Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and maintain detailed Primavera P6 programmes for major civil engineering projects.
  • Develop tender, contract and construction programmes from first principles.
  • Monitor project progress and update programmes to reflect actual performance.
  • Identify programme risks, critical path activities and opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and Commercial teams to develop realistic delivery plans.
  • Prepare progress reports, look-ahead programmes and programme narratives.
  • Analyse delays and support the assessment of change events and programme impacts.
  • Attend planning, client and project review meetings.
  • Ensure programmes align with project milestones, contractual requirements and resource availability.
  • Support continuous improvement of planning processes and project controls.

About You

To be considered, you'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a Planner using Primavera P6.
  • Experience working on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects.

  • Knowledge of NEC contracts would be advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • A proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Exposure to technically challenging projects using industry-leading planning practices.
