Location: Durham (Office & Site Based)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Our client is a well-established Building Services Contractor based in Durham, delivering mechanical and electrical installation projects across the North East and surrounding regions. Due to continued growth and increasing project compliance requirements, they are looking to recruit a Project Quality & Compliance Coordinator to support their site and project teams.

The Role

As Project Quality & Compliance Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of projects by assisting site supervisors and project managers with quality control, programme tracking and project documentation.

The role has been created to help reduce the administration burden on site teams, allowing supervisors to focus on the safe and efficient management of works on site.

This position will involve a combination of office-based and site-based working, including regular visits to projects to assist with quality and programme processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist site supervisors with the completion and management of quality assurance and quality control documentation.
  • Support project teams in maintaining project records and compliance requirements.
  • Carry out regular site visits to review progress and assist with quality control processes.
  • Monitor and track outstanding inspections, forms and project documentation.
  • Assist with programme updates and progress reporting.
  • Maintain electronic project folders and document control systems.
  • Support project close-out activities and handover documentation.
  • Work with management teams to improve processes and reporting standards.
  • Provide additional project support and administration during quieter periods.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Good organisational and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A proactive and professional approach.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • A willingness to visit sites and work closely with operational teams.
  • A full UK driving licence.

Desirable

  • Experience within the construction or building services industry.
  • Knowledge of QA/QC processes and project documentation.
  • Experience using project management or document control systems.
  • Understanding of construction programmes and project delivery processes.
