We are currently recruiting for two Project Quantity Surveyors to join a growing and well-established construction contractor delivering a range of projects across the North West.

This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious Quantity Surveyors looking to take ownership of projects while developing their careers within a supportive and forward-thinking business.

The Role

As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of construction projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring projects are delivered profitably while maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing project costs from inception through to completion.
  • Preparing valuations, applications for payment and final accounts.
  • Procurement and management of subcontractor packages.
  • Cost reporting and forecasting.
  • Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Reviewing contract documentation.
  • Managing variations and change control.
  • Supporting the project delivery teams to achieve commercial objectives.
  • Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying (essential).
  • Previous experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
  • Experience working on industrial unit projects would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong commercial awareness and contractual knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
