Project Quantity Surveyor - Planned Maintenance
Birmingham | £65,000 - £70,000 + Package + 8% Pension
We are working with a well-established planned maintenance main contractor that has secured a 10-year, £40 million framework with Birmingham City Council. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Project Quantity Surveyor to commercially manage this long-term social housing contract.
The programme of works includes:
- Kitchen & bathroom replacements
- External refurbishment programmes
- Roofing works and replacements
- General planned maintenance and property upgrades across occupied social housing
The Role
- Full commercial responsibility for planned maintenance projects
- Manage subcontractor procurement, payments and final accounts
- Prepare valuations, cost reports and forecasts
- Identify and manage variations
- Work closely with operational teams and the client to ensure commercial success
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor
- Experience within planned maintenance, refurbishment, social housing or construction
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
- Ability to manage projects independently
