Project Quantity Surveyor - Planned Maintenance 

Birmingham | £65,000 - £70,000 + Package + 8% Pension

We are working with a well-established planned maintenance main contractor that has secured a 10-year, £40 million framework with Birmingham City Council. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Project Quantity Surveyor to commercially manage this long-term social housing contract.

The programme of works includes:

  • Kitchen & bathroom replacements
  • External refurbishment programmes
  • Roofing works and replacements
  • General planned maintenance and property upgrades across occupied social housing

The Role

  • Full commercial responsibility for planned maintenance projects
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, payments and final accounts
  • Prepare valuations, cost reports and forecasts
  • Identify and manage variations
  • Work closely with operational teams and the client to ensure commercial success

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor
  • Experience within planned maintenance, refurbishment, social housing or construction
  • Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
  • Ability to manage projects independently
