Are you an experienced Resource Scheduler, Planner, Works Coordinator or Workforce Scheduler looking for your next opportunity?
Our client is seeking a Project Resource Scheduler to join their busy operations team. This is a fast-paced role where you'll be responsible for planning and coordinating engineers and subcontractors, ensuring projects are delivered on time and client service levels are consistently achieved.
PLEASE NOTE - ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT
To be considered for this role, you MUST have previous scheduling, planning or coordination experience within ONE of the following sectors:
Power / Electricity
Utilities
Water
Gas
Telecommunications (Telco)
Fibre
Civil Engineering
Highways
Streetworks
Infrastructure
Unfortunately, applicants without experience in one of the above industries cannot be considered.
The Role
As a Project Resource Scheduler, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and scheduling daily work for engineers and subcontractors.
- Managing work allocations to ensure client SLAs are achieved.
- Coordinating reactive and planned works across the UK.
- Liaising with clients, engineers, local authorities and third-party suppliers.
- Coordinating permits, traffic management and specialist requirements.
- Monitoring work progress and resolving scheduling issues quickly.
- Updating internal and client databases accurately and in real time.
- Reviewing completed work and ensuring all documentation is accurate before billing.
- Supporting operational teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently and on time.
About You
You'll have:
- Previous experience as a Resource Scheduler, Planner, Works Coordinator, Operations Coordinator or Workforce Planner.
- ESSENTIAL: Experience within the Power, Utilities, Water, Gas, Telecommunications (Telco), Fibre, Highways, Streetworks or Civil Engineering sectors.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and Word).
Knowledge of NRSWA, permit schemes or streetworks legislation would be advantageous but is not essential.
