Project Support Officer

Good Afternoon,

I am currently representing Slough Council who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for a Project Support Officer this role will be based at: Hybrid Working 2 days office based, SL1 2EJ

The right candidate will:

• Maintaining and updating project and programme documentation, plans and trackers.
• Monitoring and tracking actions, milestones, deliverables, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Supporting the preparation of project updates, progress reports, presentations and briefing papers.
• Coordinating meetings, workshops, stakeholder events and programme activity.
• Taking accurate and timely minutes and ensuring actions are clearly recorded, monitored and followed up.
• Maintaining effective governance and project records, including supporting the preparation of meeting papers and documentation.
• Supporting communication and coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders.

We require the following:

• The candidate should have strong organisational and administrative skills, with experience of working within a project, programme or transformation office environment.
• They must be confident in establishing and maintaining effective systems, processes, trackers and documentation to support the smooth running of programme activity.
• Strong IT skills are essential, particularly proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Teams.
