Salary: £48,639.83 – £50,920.45 per annum
Contract: 18-month fixed-term

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Surveyor to join an established organisation and support a range of property, asset management and development projects across its housing portfolio.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified property professional with experience in building surveying, asset management, property projects or construction, looking for a varied role with significant responsibility.
The Role
Working across a diverse property portfolio, you will lead and support projects designed to maximise the long-term value, use and condition of housing assets.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading property option appraisals to identify the best long-term use of assets
- Managing projects to bring empty, unused or underutilised spaces back into use as quality homes
- Preparing business cases, technical reports and recommendations for senior leadership
- Managing construction and refurbishment projects from inception through to completion
- Supporting the procurement and appointment of contractors and consultants
- Monitoring project progress, quality, costs and timescales
- Supporting stock condition surveys and asset data management
- Contributing to investment planning and property lifecycle programmes
- Providing professional surveying and technical advice across the organisation
About You
We are looking for a property professional with a strong understanding of buildings, construction and asset management.
You will ideally have:
- Experience within property surveying, building surveying, asset management or a related field
- Knowledge of stock condition surveys and property lifecycle planning
- Experience managing property or construction projects
- Strong report-writing and business case preparation skills
- The ability to analyse information and make commercially and technically sound recommendations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational and project management abilities
- A degree or equivalent qualification in property, surveying, construction or a related discipline
- Professional membership of RICS, CIOB or a similar professional body, or be working towards professional qualification
Experience within social housing, affordable housing or a similar property environment would be highly advantageous.
