As Project Surveyor, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful commercial delivery of retrofit projects across your designated region. Working closely with operational teams, clients, and subcontractors, you will help maximise profitability while maintaining excellent levels of service and compliance.

Our client are a well known housing contractor looking for a Project Surveyor to join a growing team delivering a newly secured long-term social housing retrofit framework. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in improving homes, reducing carbon emissions, and supporting sustainable communities across the UK.

Description

Working within a dedicated region, you will take ownership of approximately £3 million of annual retrofit works, supporting the commercial delivery of a diverse programme that includes:

  • Cavity Wall Insulation (CWI)
  • Window & Door Replacements
  • Solar PV Installations
  • Air Source Heat Pumps
  • Associated Retrofit and Energy Efficiency Works


Key Responsibilities

  • Managing CVRs, cost reporting, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Monitoring project costs and identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Procuring and managing subcontractor packages.
  • Processing valuations, payments, and final accounts.
  • Supporting client meetings and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Ensuring contractual compliance and commercial control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborating with operational teams to drive contract performance and profitability.

Profile



Essential Experience

  • Previous Quantity Surveying experience within construction, planned maintenance, property services, social housing, or retrofit projects.
  • Strong knowledge of cost reporting, forecasting, and CVR production.
  • Experience managing subcontractor accounts and commercial performance.
  • Excellent financial and contractual awareness.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities across a regional framework.


Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related discipline.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
