Our client, a leading organization within the energy sector, is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Project Manager to join their Corporate Property team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to be part of the UK's energy transition while managing several concurrent projects that are crucial for the organisation's strategic property programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple complex projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with established objectives and RIBA Stage 0-1 outputs.
- Engage and collaborate with stakeholders to develop realistic project specifications and requirements.
- Prepare and manage milestone project plans to facilitate effective communication and delivery.
- Support the Business-as-Usual (BAU) team in scoping critical asset replacement projects, influencing stakeholders for successful outcomes.
- Work closely with the Capex team to ensure seamless integration of project plans with minimal disruption to site operations.
- Proactively manage interdependencies between projects and communicate these effectively at the programme level.
- Conduct feasibility assessments and translate findings into project briefs with costed design options and recommendations.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in delivering multiple, complex multi-discipline projects within the built environment.
- Strong background in change management and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on consultancy or client-side roles.
- Demonstrable problem-solving skills and advanced communication abilities.
- Proficiency in financial management, project cost estimation, and budget preparation.
- Strong planning, report writing, and time management skills.
- A detail-oriented mindset with a track record of producing high-quality outputs and strategic thinking.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- A robust understanding of Design and Build contracts.
- Experience in supply chain management and business case development.
- A proactive approach to health, safety, and environmental issues throughout project delivery.
- The ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their advocacy for project initiatives.
- Prince 2, APM or equivalent qualified in project management
- Current full UK driving license.
- NEBOSH Certified (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health).
- Practical applicable of the RIBA plan of works framework within a construction project.
- Knowledge of BREEAM assessments and Building Regulations.
