Property Security & Asset Support Technician

We are seeking a Property Security & Asset Support Technician to join our field operations team. This is a mobile role responsible for protecting and safeguarding residential, commercial, and industrial properties on behalf of a diverse client base.

The successful candidate will attend multiple locations daily, carrying out a range of property preservation, security, and asset protection tasks. The position involves significant travel, independent working, and practical hands-on duties to ensure sites remain secure, compliant, and well-maintained.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Deploy, inspect, service, and recover temporary security solutions, including wireless alarm systems.

Carry out property preservation works to reduce risks associated with vacant and occupied buildings.

Isolate utilities where authorised, including water, gas, and electrical supplies.

nstall security boarding to doors, windows, and vulnerable access points.

Fit temporary asset protection measures such as steel screens, fencing, barriers, and lock changes.

Conduct condition inspections and provide detailed reports on property status and security risks.

Undertake general property upkeep and remedial works to maintain safety and presentation standards.

Manage a daily schedule of site visits across a designated region.

Accurately record completed works through photographs, reports, and digital job management systems.

Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry standards, and health & safety legislation.

Maintain company-issued vehicles, equipment, and stock levels.

Build strong working relationships with clients, occupiers, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Participate in occasional overnight travel when operational requirements dictate. Hotel accommodation and a daily subsistence allowance will be provided.

About You

Essential Requirements

Experience within property services, field operations, facilities support, building maintenance, security services, or a similar practical role.

Strong DIY and hands-on skills with confidence using power tools and equipment.

Ability to work independently and prioritise a varied workload.

Comfortable travelling extensively and driving long distances as part of the role.

Full UK driving licence.

Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Flexible approach to working patterns and emergency response requirements.

Desirable Experience

Background in property security, asset protection, vacant property management, facilities maintenance, or locksmithing.

Experience working within housing, commercial property, construction, or facilities environments.

CSCS Card, First Aid qualification, or other health and safety accreditations.

Familiarity with temporary alarm or site security systems would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.
