Property Valuer – East Ham

We are looking for an experienced Property Valuer to join an established property team based in East Ham.

This is an excellent opportunity for a property professional with strong local market knowledge and experience carrying out valuations, winning instructions and providing accurate advice to clients.

The role will involve working across a varied residential property portfolio, combining valuation expertise with strong relationship-building and business generation skills.

The Role

As a Property Valuer, you will be responsible for assessing properties, advising clients and helping to generate new instructions across the local market.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting residential property valuations and market appraisals

• Providing accurate and realistic pricing advice based on current market conditions

• Winning new instructions and converting valuation opportunities

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and landlords

• Developing opportunities through existing clients, applicants and local contacts

• Providing advice on property presentation, marketing and pricing strategies

• Working closely with sales and lettings teams to maximise opportunities

• Monitoring local market activity and competitor performance

• Keeping clients updated throughout the marketing and transaction process

• Supporting negotiations between buyers and sellers where required

• Helping properties progress from instruction through to successful completion

• Maintaining accurate records and updating relevant property systems

• Working towards individual and team performance targets

• Representing the business professionally within the local property market

About You

We're looking for a commercially minded property professional with proven experience in residential valuations.

You should have:

• Previous experience as a Property Valuer, Senior Negotiator or similar role

• Strong knowledge of the East London residential property market

• Proven experience carrying out valuations and winning instructions

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills

• Confidence dealing with vendors, landlords, buyers and other stakeholders

• A strong track record of achieving sales or valuation targets

• A proactive approach to generating new business

• Strong organisational and time-management skills

• Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities

• A full UK driving licence would be advantageous

You'll be confident discussing market conditions with clients, managing expectations, winning instructions and working closely with the wider property team to maximise opportunities.
