About the Role

The business is seeking an experienced Protection Adviser to hit the ground running within an existing, active client base. You will advise on personal protection as a core focus, with opportunities to support business protection, later‑life planning and inheritance tax solutions where appropriate.

You will work closely with mortgage advisers generating consistent referral opportunities, allowing you to focus on advice quality and case conversion rather than cold prospecting.

Both employed and self‑employed models are available, with flexibility depending on experience and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide regulated advice on personal protection including life cover, CI, income protection and family protection
  • Identify opportunities for business protection and estate planning solutions
  • Build long‑term relationships with clients, delivering exceptional service
  • Collaborate closely with mortgage advisers and internal teams
  • Maintain compliant, accurate records in line with FCA standards
  • Consistently meet agreed production expectations

Employed Package

  • Basic Salary £30k + Commission Structure tiered up to 35%
  • 20 days holiday plus 1 extra day accumulated service up to 25 days
  • Private Medical Insurance
  • 1 WFH day once probation passed

Self Employed

  • 50% of self-generated leads - 42% of leads provided
  • PMI referred 20% and 10% upon renewal

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience advising on personal protection
  • Business protection and inheritance tax experience advantageous
  • Strong technical knowledge with a client‑first mindset
  • Comfortable working with high‑value cases
  • Team‑focused with no ego
