Provisioning Service Desk Engineer in King's Lynn, Norfolk

We are looking for a Provisioning (Change Management) Service Desk Engineer to join a growing and highly successful managed services business supporting healthcare and social care organisations across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically capable and process-driven IT professional who thrives in a structured environment. Unlike a traditional reactive Service Desk role, this position focuses on delivering planned IT changes, following established client processes, and maintaining exceptional levels of accuracy and customer service.

Working within a dedicated Provisioning team, you'll be responsible for managing a high volume of technical change requests, ensuring each task is completed efficiently, accurately, and in line with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities of the Provisioning Service Desk Engineer are:

• Execute IT change requests including Microsoft 365 administration, MFA configuration and Intune deployments
• Manage user onboarding, offboarding, account creation, permissions and password resets
• Configure and maintain MDM profiles and device deployments
• Follow detailed client procedures and ensure all work is accurately recorded
• Communicate with users via phone, email and ticketing systems
• Update ticket progress and completed work in real time
• Work closely with the Provisioning Coordinator to manage workload and ticket allocation
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and better documentation
• Consistently manage a high volume of tickets while maintaining quality and service standards

 Skills & Experience Required for the Provisional Service Desk Engineer are:

• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, MFA, Intune and Windows 11
• Experience with Microsoft Autopilot
• Knowledge of antivirus solutions, including Trend Micro
• Experience with WiFi and network technologies such as UniFi
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Highly organised, process-driven and comfortable working in a structured environment
• Ability to handle a high volume of work while maintaining accuracy
• A resilient and professional approach with a strong customer focus

Desirable expereince for the Provisional Service Desk Engineer are:

• Previous experience within an MSP (Managed Service Provider) environment
• Experience supporting multiple clients and working to SLAs
• Familiarity with ConnectWise or similar PSA platforms

Hybrid Working

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, typically including one office-based day per week in King's Lynn with the wider Provisioning team.

Additional office attendance may occasionally be required for device builds, project work, training or business requirements.

During your induction period, you'll spend your first four weeks office-based to ensure you gain a thorough understanding of the team, systems and processes. You will be required to undergo a enhanced DBS check if you are successful for this role.
