Salary: £37,870 - £56,154 per year + £2,787 - £5,497 SEN Allowance (Outer London)

About the role and school

We are looking for an enthusiastic and resilient PRU Teacher to join a specialist provision in Waltham Forest on an ASAP basis. This PRU Teacher role offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference to pupils who may have struggled within a traditional school environment and require a more personalised approach to education.

The school places a strong emphasis on relationships, engagement and helping pupils re-establish positive attitudes towards learning. As a PRU Teacher, you will deliver engaging and accessible lessons while providing the consistency, structure and encouragement pupils need to succeed.

This PRU Teacher opportunity would suit a confident teacher with strong behaviour management skills and a genuine passion for working with young people with additional needs.

Job Responsibilities

Deliver engaging lessons as a PRU Teacher

Plan and adapt learning to meet individual pupil needs

Establish clear routines and positive behaviour expectations

Build strong and trusting relationships with pupils

Monitor progress and contribute to individual support plans

Work collaboratively with colleagues and wider professionals

Qualifications/Experience

· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS

· Previous experience working with SEND, SEMH or challenging behaviour is desirable

· Strong behaviour management skills

· Resilient, patient and consistent approach

· Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service

· Right to work in the UK
