Job Title: Alternative Provision (PRU) Teacher – Manchester

The Education Specialists are seeking an experienced and committed Alternative Provision (PRU) Teacher to join a school in Manchester, supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and additional needs to access learning and achieve their potential.

This is a full-time, long-term position within a specialist Alternative Provision setting.

The school has a strong focus on personalised learning and pupil wellbeing, making it an excellent opportunity for a Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact with students who may be disengaged from mainstream education.

Alternative Provision (PRU) Teacher

Role Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching pupils with SEND & challenging behaviour
  • Strong understanding of differentiation and inclusive teaching strategies
  • Experience supporting needs such as ASD, SEMH, MLD or complex needs
  • Ability to plan and deliver personalised learning
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply

The Successful Candidate Will:
  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet individual needs
  • Support pupils with a range of additional learning and behavioural needs
  • Monitor, assess and track pupil progress
  • Work closely with the SENCO and wider support team
  • Create a positive, structured and inclusive learning environment
  • Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
