PSV Technician – Days / Nights (Bus & Coach)

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced PSV Technician to join a busy and well-established fleet operation in the Sheffield area.

This is a hands-on role working within a fast-paced workshop, responsible for maintaining and repairing a modern fleet of buses and coaches to the highest safety and compliance standards.

You’ll play a key role in keeping vehicles roadworthy, minimising downtime, and ensuring services run efficiently.

 Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair on PSV vehicles
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
• Conduct inspections, safety checks, and MOT preparation
• Complete defect repairs efficiently to minimise downtime
• Ensure all work is completed in line with DVSA standards
• Work collaboratively within a skilled engineering team

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working on PSV / HGV / commercial vehicles
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent preferred)
• A proactive approach with a focus on first-time fixes
