Have you recently graduated with a degree in Psychology and are looking for meaningful experience before taking your next step?
Whether you're considering Clinical or Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health, Teaching or Social Care, this role could give you the hands-on experience you're looking for.
You'll work within a specialist school supporting children and young people aged 6-19, alongside experienced teachers, therapists and healthcare professionals.
The students you support may have Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, communication needs and SEMH needs.
What You'll Be Doing
Your day-to-day role will involve:
Supporting students with their learning and development.
Providing one-to-one and small-group assistance.
Helping students develop communication, independence and emotional wellbeing.
Creating a positive, safe and nurturing environment.
Supporting students throughout the school day.
Providing personal care when necessary.
Working closely with specialist staff and other professionals.
