A Secondary SEN School in Oxford is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate - SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This role is ideal for Psychology graduates who are considering a future career as an Educational Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Counsellor, Therapist, or Teacher and want to gain meaningful, hands-on experience before taking their next step.
As a Psychology Graduate - SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with a range of special educational needs.
- Use your understanding of psychology to help students develop confidence, independence, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning.
- Support students both academically and pastorally, adapting your approach to meet their individual needs.
- Work closely with teachers and the wider SEN team to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
We're Looking For a Psychology Graduate Who Is:
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic, with a genuine passion for supporting young people.
- A confident communicator who can build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Interested in developing a career within psychology, education, therapy, or mental health.
