The RoleAs a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, working closely with teachers and the SEN team to provide academic, behavioural, social, and emotional support.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting pupils with additional learning needs within the classroom.
- Providing 1:1 and small group interventions.
- Assisting children with Autism (ASD), ADHD, Speech and Language needs, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- Supporting behaviour management strategies and emotional regulation.
- Helping pupils develop confidence, resilience, and independence.
- Building positive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement in learning.
- Supporting teachers with classroom activities and learning resources.
- Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.
