Location: Coventry
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract: Full-time or Part-time opportunities available

We are recruiting compassionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils in a welcoming and supportive special school in Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your practical skills while making a genuine difference to the lives of children and young people with additional needs.
The RoleAs a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with a range of special educational needs (SEN), including autism, learning difficulties, and communication needs.
- Work alongside experienced teachers and therapists to deliver engaging learning activities.
- Build positive relationships with pupils to encourage confidence, independence, and personal development.
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
- Support pupils both in the classroom and during break times and school activities.
- A degree in Psychology (or a closely related subject).
- A caring, patient, and resilient approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs.
- Previous experience working with children or vulnerable individuals is beneficial but not essential.
- An enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for one.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Availability to work Monday to Friday (part-time hours can also be considered)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
