Psychology & Sociology Teacher (KS5) – Part-Time Maternity Cover

Contract: Part-Time (3 days per week) – Maternity Cover

End Date: October Half Term 2026

We are currently working with a large, well-established secondary school in West London seeking a committed and experienced KS5 Psychology and Sociology Teacher to join them on a part-time maternity cover basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to teach within a supportive and high-achieving sixth form environment, delivering engaging lessons across both Psychology and Sociology at Key Stage 5.

The role

• Teaching Psychology and Sociology at KS5
• Working 3 days per week (Tuesday to Thursday)
• Delivering high-quality, engaging lessons to sixth form students
• Supporting student progress, achievement and exam preparation
• Contributing to the wider ethos of a successful school and sixth form

The ideal candidate

• Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Strong experience teaching Psychology and/or Sociology at KS5
• Confident delivering high-quality sixth form lessons
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Available for the full duration of the maternity cover
