Psychology Teacher

Veritas Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Psychology Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in the Kirklees area. This is a part-time position, working three days per week, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and deliver engaging Psychology lessons at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 within a well-established department.

As a Psychology Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Psychology lessons that engage and challenge students.
• Teach Psychology across KS4 and KS5.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor, assess and report on student progress.
• Support students to achieve their academic potential.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to departmental success.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching Psychology in a secondary school setting.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills.
• Be passionate about raising attainment and student outcomes.
• Possess strong communication and organisational skills.
• Be able to provide references covering the last two years.
