Duration: 3 Week Blockade
Role & Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and dismantle timber and proprietary formwork systems.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Measure, cut, and assemble formwork to the required standards.
- Ensure all formwork is accurately positioned and secured prior to concrete pours.
- Work safely within a rail environment, adhering to all PTS and site safety regulations.
- Collaborate with site management and other trades to ensure work is completed efficiently.
- Carry out repairs and alterations to existing formwork as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
- Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter.
- Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification (essential).
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Own tools and PPE.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
