Punch Press Setter

We are seeking a skilled Punch Setter to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining press brake machinery to fabricate and assemble sheet metal components.

Responsibilities

• Setting a punch and shape sheet metal
• Fabricate parts by following engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Assemble components as per production requirements, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Use hand tools and equipment for grinding and finishing operations.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience/Requirements

• Previous experience setting an CNC punch machine is essential
• Familiarity with tooling setups and adjustments for various press brake operations.
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Experience using hand tools for assembly and finishing tasks.
• Ability to grind materials as needed for quality assurance in final products.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

The Package

• Starting rate is between £15.54 - 17.10
• 12 week temp to perm contract
• Ability to learn and progress in other areas of the shop.
