We are currently recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy business based in Halesowen on a temporary, ongoing basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in purchase ledger and accounts who is looking for a Monday to Friday role.
The role
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the purchase ledger function, including:
- Processing and checking purchase ledger invoices
- Matching invoices and resolving any discrepancies
- Closing the purchase ledger accurately and within deadlines
- Processing wages and supporting payroll-related administration
- Preparing and submitting pension returns
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Dealing with supplier queries and invoice-related issues
- Assisting with general accounts administration as required
About you
- The successful candidate will have previous experience within a purchase ledger or accounts environment and be confident managing invoices and financial information.
- You will need to be organised, accurate and comfortable working to deadlines, with good attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Purchase ledger experience is essential.
