Purchase Ledger Manager, Nantwich, £30,000–£32,000 DOE, Permanent, 1-day WFH per week

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Manager to join a busy and supportive finance team in the heart of Nantwich. This is a permanent opportunity, initially covering a 12-month maternity leave. • Accurately processing and posting supplier invoices to the correct businesses and nominal codes
• Preparing and processing supplier payment runs in line with agreed schedules
• Processing employee expense claims in line with company policies
• Providing support with monthly payroll processing and associated payments
• Processing ad-hoc payments, ensuring the appropriate approvals are in place
• Monitoring weekly balances and cash flow, highlighting any potential issues
• Completing regular bank reconciliations and investigating any discrepancies
• Supporting the wider Finance team with additional duties and ad-hoc tasks
• Taking on broader finance responsibilities as the role develops

The successful candidate will have previous experience within Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable, along with a good understanding of general financial processes and controls. Ideally, you will have experience using an accounting system, with Xero experience being particularly advantageous.

It is essential that candidates have strong numerical and analytical skills, are confident using Microsoft Excel and finance systems, and have excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
