We are recruiting an experienced Purchasing and Planning Manager for a growing, innovation-led advanced manufacturing business.
This is a senior, hands-on position with responsibility for production planning, purchasing and scheduling, while leading and developing a multidisciplinary team.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, support and develop a team of four professionals
- Drive production planning, purchasing and scheduling performance
- Maintain 95% on-time delivery to customers and from suppliers
- Develop scalable systems and processes to support continued growth
- Identify and implement operational improvements
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Finance and Sales
- Contribute commercial and operational insight to strategic decisions
- At least 10 years' experience in purchasing and planning within a low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing environment
- A minimum of five years' leadership experience
- A strong track record in production planning and purchasing
- Experience within advanced manufacturing
- Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
- A resilient, adaptable and results-focused approach
- A degree or equivalent experience
