QA Supervisor – Night Shift
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (18:00–06:00)

We are looking for an experienced and passionate QA Supervisor to take ownership of food safety, quality assurance, and compliance across our night operations at the Attleborough site. This is an excellent opportunity for a food manufacturing professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced FMCG environment, leading teams, solving problems, and driving continuous improvement.
Working closely with our Technical and Production teams, you will be the key Quality and Food Safety authority on the night shift. You will play an important role in maintaining high standards of GMP, HACCP, allergen management, BRC compliance, and product quality, while helping to develop a strong and proactive food safety culture across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Quality and Food Safety activities throughout the night shift, ensuring consistent standards and effective decision-making.
- Maintain compliance with BRC, GMP, HACCP, allergen controls, regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and brand standards.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Quality Technologists, creating a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with Production and Technical teams to identify risks, resolve issues, and prevent quality or food safety failures.
- Use KPIs, trend analysis, audits, data, and root cause analysis to identify opportunities and improve site performance.
- Lead corrective and preventive actions and support the delivery of continuous improvement and Operational Excellence (OPEX) initiatives.
- Ensure products consistently meet required quality, safety, legal, and customer standards in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Support the implementation of Technical and Food Safety strategies while ensuring effective communication across shifts and departments.
What We’re Looking For
You will ideally hold HACCP Level 4 and a degree or equivalent qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Management, or a related discipline. Most importantly, you will have proven experience within food manufacturing, FMCG, or another high-risk production environment.
We are looking for someone with strong technical knowledge and practical experience of BRC, GMP, HACCP, allergen management, auditing, problem-solving, and root cause analysis. You should also be a confident leader who can coach and develop others, influence cross-functional teams, and make sound, data-driven decisions in a fast-paced production environment.
