A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a QA Officer to join a growing pharmaceutical manufacturer and play a key role in supporting a compliant, efficient and well‑run Quality Assurance function.
Working closely with the Senior QA Officer and wider QA team, you’ll help maintain high standards across documentation, GMP compliance, supplier management, and internal quality processes. This is an excellent role for someone with QA experience who is looking to develop further within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities for the QA Officer:
- Review executed Batch Manufacturing Records and associated documents to verify compliance with company procedures and GMP.
- Support batch certification activities and compile quality data for monthly and management review packs.
- Maintain and update logs for non‑conformances, deviations, CAPA, change controls, cleaning records and document change requests.
- Issue controlled blank forms and support record management, filing and archiving.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure documentation is current and compliant.
- Support internal audits, risk management activities, investigations and root cause analysis.
- Carry out routine QA administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the department.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to promote compliance with the Pharmaceutical Quality System.
The ideal candidate for the QA Officer will have:
- A Degree in a Life Science discipline or equivalent industry experience
- At least 2-3 years of QA experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of GMP, experience in and exposure to MHRA or customer audits.
