QA/QC Civil Engineer

Warden Tyne Solutions are currently recruiting multiple QA/QC Civil Engineers for a civil engineering project.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage and implement QA/QC procedures, ITPs, Method Statements and Quality Plans.
• Inspect reinforcement, formwork, concrete pours, curing, construction joints and associated RC works.
• Conduct and coordinate IRs, pre-pour inspections, material inspections and testing.
• Monitor concrete quality, including slump, temperature, cube testing and delivery records.
• Review drawings, specifications, material approvals and technical submissions.
• Identify, record and close out NCRs, defects and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports and test documentation.
• Liaise with the client, consultant, subcontractors and site teams on quality matters.
• Carry out regular site inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance.
• Support project handover, snagging and final quality documentation.

The Person

• Civil Engineering background
• Experience on major infrastructure/civil engineering projects
• Minimum HNC/HND in Civil Engineering
• Valid CSCS card (Essential)
