QA/QC Inspector

We are seeking an experienced Freelance QA/QC Inspector to support a live fire remediation (recladding) project comprising four occupied residential blocks in Elephant & Castle.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect works to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and relevant regulations.
• Carry out routine quality inspections and maintain inspection records.
• Identify defects and non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and closed out.
• Review subcontractor workmanship and verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and installation requirements.
• Support the completion of quality documentation, inspection test plans (ITPs), and handover records.
• Work closely with the site management team to maintain high quality standards throughout the project.

Requirements

• Proven QA/QC experience on façade, recladding, fire remediation, or external envelope projects.
• Strong understanding of construction quality management systems and inspection processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
• Relevant construction qualifications and CSCS card.
• Experience on occupied residential projects is desirable.
