QA Team Leader

QA Team Leader - Fixed-Term Maternity Cover - Manufacturing - Haverhill, Suffolk

Are you an experienced Quality professional with previous team leadership experience looking for a new opportunity? We are currently recruiting for a QA Team Leader to join a busy manufacturing business in Haverhill on a fixed-term maternity cover contract.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you'll supervise a team of 6-7 OQC team members, coordinating daily workloads and ensuring resources, documentation and equipment are available to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of 6-7 OQC team members
• Plan and allocate daily workloads and resources
• Monitor and report team output and performance
• Review and report product inventory and WIP status
• Support OQC and IQC activities where required
• Pack and label products ready for shipment
• Print job/works orders and production documentation
• Ensure quality processes are followed in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards
• Work closely with other departments to support customer requirements
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
• Experience within a Quality Control or manufacturing environment
• Good understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities calmly and effectively
• A strong team player who can also work independently
• Proactive, reliable and able to use initiative
