An excellent opportunity has become available for a QC & Goods In Operative to join a growing warehouse team in Doncaster.

This role would suit someone with strong attention to detail, good organisational skills and previous experience within quality control, goods in, stock control, warehouse operations or inspection-based work.

The position will involve carrying out detailed quality control inspections on incoming garments, maintaining accurate QC documentation and supporting the Goods In team once quality checks are complete. The original JD confirms the role covers both QC inspections and Goods In support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and measure incoming products in line with agreed quality standards and procedures.

  • Accurately record inspection results and maintain clear QC documentation.

  • Complete QC reports clearly, accurately and concisely.

  • Identify products that do not meet required standards and escalate non-conformances.

  • Support the Quality Manager with agreed follow-up actions.

  • Book receipted goods onto stock against the correct purchase order.

  • Check incoming goods to ensure physical quantities match system records.

  • Put stock away into correct bin locations, helping maximise warehouse space.

  • Report inbound delivery discrepancies using the internal reporting system.

  • Label incoming boxes and individual items with the correct SKU.

  • Assist with stock replenishment when required.

  • Load and unload goods.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in quality control, goods in, warehouse operations, stock control or a similar role.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.

  • Able to follow detailed processes and quality standards consistently.

  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.

  • Confident using Microsoft 365, particularly Excel.

  • Reliable, hands-on and able to work accurately in a warehouse environment.

  • Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.

Desirable

  • Previous garment quality control or product inspection experience.

  • Counterbalance FLT licence.

  • Reach Truck licence.
