QC Technician

Location: Melbourn, near Royston (SG8)
Type of Work: Temporary
Duration: 3 - 4 months 
Hours: Late shift,  2pm - 10pm, Monday - Friday
Salary: £17 per hour

Polytec are looking for a QC Technician to complete a specific project for our client based in Melbourn, near Royston. The role involves ensuring that components for a medical device product meet strict quality and regulatory standards.

While having your own transport would be beneficial, the location is also accessible by train. 

Responsibilities:
* Inspection of small plastic components using a microscope 
* Accurately recording pass / fail, maintaining quality records

Requirements:
* Experience in materials inspection
* Handling of small plastic components
* Attention to detail, good dexterity and familiarity with quality requirements
* Experience using a microscope for inspection of components
* Capable of maintaining quality standards whilst completing repetitive tasks
