We are recruiting for a QSHE Coordinator to join a well-established manufacturing business in the Wellingborough area. This is a hands-on, systems-focused role supporting the Managing Director and working closely with the Health & Safety Manager to ensure environmental, compliance, and management systems are maintained to a high standard across the site.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment, takes pride in accuracy and organisation, and wants to play a key role in keeping a manufacturing business compliant, efficient, and environmentally responsible.

You will not be managing a team, but you will hold a senior and respected position within the business, supporting key operational and compliance activities across the site.

The QSHE Coordinator Role:

You will take ownership of QSHE systems and environmental compliance processes across the business, ensuring standards are maintained and continuously improved.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and maintaining ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 systems alongside the H&S Manager
  • Completing approximately 30 internal audits per year
  • Supporting corrective actions and ensuring system improvements are implemented
  • Managing environmental compliance and waste management processes
  • Supporting the implementation and monitoring of CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism)
  • Recording and monitoring water and energy usage
  • Completing Legionella dip testing and maintaining accurate compliance records
  • Conducting technical waste assessments using MDS
  • Assessing recyclability, hazardous materials, and chemical breakdown of waste streams
  • Supporting the Managing Director with compliance and environmental reporting
  • Ensuring all documentation and records are accurate, structured, and audit ready


What We Are Looking For

  • Experience working in QSHE, QHSE, Environmental or Compliance within manufacturing
  • Experience working with ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment
  • Experience with audits and compliance documentation
  • Environmental or waste management knowledge is highly beneficial
  • Confident working independently and supporting senior leadership
  • A structured and methodical approach to work
