QHSE Manager

A QHSE Manager position has become available within an established manufacturing business currently experiencing a period of growth. This is a broad, hands-on role focused on managing and continually improving quality, health, safety and environmental standards across the business.
Working closely with the Senior Management Team, you will maintain and develop the systems and controls required to ensure legal compliance, improve product and process quality, reduce operational risk and promote a positive QHSE culture throughout the organisation.
QHSE Manager responsibilities include -
- Provide practical quality, health, safety and environmental guidance across the business.
- Maintain risk assessments, method statements, safe systems of work and QHSE documentation.
- Maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems, coordinating audits, inspections and company accreditation.
- Investigate incidents, near misses and quality non-conformance, implementing corrective actions.
- Manage mandatory training, toolbox talks, fire safety and compliance inspections.
- Monitor QHSE performance, maintain audit records and report key findings to senior management.
- Previous experience as a QHSE Manager, SHEQ Manager, HSE Manager, EHS Manager or Quality Manager.
- Quality, health and safety experience gained within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience maintaining quality management systems and supporting internal and external audits.
- Knowledge of risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work.
- ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 auditor training would be advantageous.
- NEBOSH General Certificate or IOSH membership would be advantageous.
- £45,000 - £50,000 salary.
