Qualified English Teacher in Wiltshire

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a well-established secondary school in Wiltshire who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher.

The school is looking for an English Teacher who can bring the subject to life, build positive relationships with students and deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4.

The successful English Teacher will have:

• QTS or a relevant UK teaching qualification
• Strong subject knowledge across English Language and Literature
• Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• A genuine enthusiasm for engaging and inspiring young people
• The ability to plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons

The role will involve delivering engaging English lessons, supporting students of varying abilities and contributing positively to the wider English department. You will be expected to maintain high expectations while creating a classroom environment where students feel confident to participate and progress.
