We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join a specialist SEN school/Trust in Twickenham. Serving both primary and secondary-aged pupils, this is a school where every member of staff plays a vital role in transforming the lives of young people with complex and diverse needs.

About the Role:
Working across both the primary and secondary sites, you will provide high-quality occupational therapy support to pupils with a range of physical, sensory and developmental needs. Your role will be varied and impactful, balancing whole-class and group support with targeted individual intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging sensory and motor skills sessions across primary and secondary SEN settings
- Carry out detailed assessments of pupils' sensory, physical and functional needs
- Write clear, accurate and pupil-centred reports to inform EHCP reviews, progress tracking and wider MDT planning
- Deliver specialist 1:1 interventions where appropriate, tailored to individual pupil profiles and targets
- Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCOs, teaching assistants and external professionals
- Provide guidance and training to school staff to embed sensory and motor strategies across the curriculum
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with professional and school standards
-Follow safeguarding, health and safety and school-specific policies at all times
About You:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration (essential)
- Experience working with children and young people with SEND, including complex physical and sensory needs
- Confident in delivering both group/whole-class sessions and specialist 1:1 interventions
- Strong assessment and report writing skills
- Experience working within an educational or SEN setting (desirable)
- Collaborative, patient and pupil-focused approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well being of all pupils
