Spencer Clarke Group is working with a number of secondary schools across Preston and the surrounding areas, and we are looking to speak with qualified secondary school teachers across all subject specialisms.
We have a range of long-term teaching opportunities available, including short-term cover, full academic year positions and roles with the potential to become permanent.
Whether you're an ECT looking for your first teaching role or an experienced teacher considering your next move, we'd be keen to hear from you.
The Role
Depending on the placement, your responsibilities may include:
- Planning and delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teaching within your subject specialism
- Managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
- Working closely with departmental colleagues and wider school staff
- Taking on the full responsibilities of a classroom teacher for longer-term placements
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised UK teaching qualification
- Strong knowledge of your subject specialism
- Confident classroom and behaviour management
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
- ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
