Location: Various locations across England
Job Type: Agency / Temporary / Contract
Pay: £25.00–£35.00 per hour PAYE, depending on experience, location and assignment

We are recruiting qualified and experienced Children’s Social Workers to join our agency network, supporting local authorities and children’s social care services across England.

Essential Requirements

• Recognised Social Work qualification
• Current registration with Social Work England
• Minimum 3 years' post-qualifying experience in an English local authority Children's Social Care setting
• Valid DBS suitable for the role
• Valid Right to Work in the UK
• Two detailed, practice-based professional references
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
• Strong assessment, report-writing and case management skills
• Ability to manage an appropriate caseload independently
• Excellent communication and professional standards

Relevant Experience

We are interested in Social Workers with experience in Children & Families, Child Protection, Children in Need, Looked After Children, Care Leavers, Assessment, Safeguarding, Children with Disabilities, Permanency, Court and Care Proceedings, Fostering or Adoption.

Additional experience such as Local Authority, MASH, Signs of Safety, strengths-based practice or trauma-informed practice would be advantageous, depending on the assignment.

Specific experience, training and competency requirements may vary depending on the local authority and assignment.
