Quality Assurance Engineer (4-Day Week)
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (Depending on Experience)
Location: Birmingham

Working Pattern: 4 Days per Week 39 hrs

We are working on behalf of established manufacturing business seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support their growing operations.

The Role:

You will play a key role in maintaining and improving quality standards across the business, working closely with production, engineering, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support APQP and PPAP processes (FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, PSW, etc.)
• Support new product introduction in line with quality systems
• Maintain and update quality documentation and process controls
• Conduct internal audits and support external/customer audits
• Investigate internal and external quality issues using 8D / 5 Whys
• Support supplier quality and customer complaint resolution
• Assist with calibration systems and gauge studies (MSA)
• Ensure drawing control and documentation is up to date

• Experience within a manufacturing / automotive quality environment
• Strong knowledge of Automotive Core Tools
• Hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
