Quality Assurance Manager (QA Manager)

We’re recruiting for an experienced QA Manager to join a fast-paced food manufacturing site within the Food to Go sector.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong QA or Technical background who enjoys being close to the operation, leading a team and making sure food safety, quality and customer standards are consistently delivered.

You’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the QA team and quality systems across site, working closely with Operations and Technical to resolve issues, drive standards and support continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading, coaching and developing the site QA team
• Acting as a key contact for food safety and quality matters
• Ensuring quality systems meet customer, legal and company requirements
• Working closely with Production to maintain high quality and hygiene standards
• Managing non-conformances and ensuring corrective actions are closed out
• Investigating quality, microbiological and process issues
• Supporting audits, inspections and customer visits
• Developing and maintaining HACCP and food safety systems

What we’re looking for:

You’ll have previous experience in a QA or Technical role within food manufacturing, along with a good understanding of food safety, quality systems and audits.

You’ll also be confident leading people and working closely with production teams. A calm, practical approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate standards effectively across different levels of the business will be important.

Experience within chilled, ready-to-eat or Food to Go manufacturing would be particularly relevant.
