Insight Employment are seeking Quality Assurance Technician to work for a client of ours in Buckingham.
The Role: -
Assist in the compliance of product safety, quality legality and authenticity in the production of the client’s products at the Buckingham site. Ensuring compliance with site, UK, and Group policies. This role will focus on working with production to ensure Quality Procedures, CCP's and Good Manufacturing Practices are adhered to. Supporting the wider UK Technical team is an essential part of this role – engagement with other functions will be required as necessary - these include and are not limited to R&D, Operations, Commercial, Finance.
The task list below is by no means exhaustive and additional duties can often arise, dependant on specific business requirements and priorities may have to change at little or no notice to satisfy customer and business needs.
Key Tasks: -
- Assist with the testing of finished products on the factory floor and at dispatch
- Ensure all CCP checks are completed and recorded accordingly
- Accurate recording of analytical results
- Report and communicate incidences of non-conformance and maintain the Failure Log
- Assist in the investigation of non-conformances using root cause analysis
- Reporting supplier non-conformances
- Daily equipment calibration tests
- GMP, hygiene auditing of the site
- Hygiene swabbing as per schedule
- Glass and plastic audits as per schedule
- Document control and upkeep of incoming goods COA, COC and delivery notes
- Micro sample recording and data trending
- General QA duties including but not limited to, production packing checks, label checking and reconciliation, blast, and chiller temperature checks
- Upkeep and maintenance of the SAP system for customer COA retrieval, batch data input, finished product and raw material release, blocking non-conforming stock from release
- Audit support – customer and third-party audits
- Support and assist customers and internal departments such as production, customer services and R&D
- Assist in any technical matters as directed
Requirements: -
- HACCP and Food Safety Level 3
- Experience (years & type of experience):
3+ years of Quality management in the food industry
Supervision/Management of teams
- Languages: English required
- ICT: Proficient in Microsoft Suite tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and in SAP transactions
- Other expertise:

07:00am – 15:00pm (Training hour only)
Rates: -
£14.42 per hour
