Are you a Graduate or Apprentice-Trained Engineer looking to build a career in Quality Assurance?
We’re recruiting for an established UK engineering and manufacturing business producing complex, high-quality products for demanding and highly regulated applications.
This is a great opportunity for an early-career engineer with strong attention to detail who wants to gain hands-on Quality Assurance experience and develop within a highly respected engineering environment.
The role
Working within the Quality team, you’ll help ensure manufacturing documentation and records are accurate, traceable and ready for internal and customer approval.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing engineering and quality documentation
- Checking documents for accuracy, revisions and traceability
- Tracking technical queries, change requests and controlled documentation
- Reviewing and updating production and quality records
- Compiling build packs and customer release documentation
- Checking Certificates of Conformance, material certificates and manufacturing records
- Supporting product traceability and quality requirements
- Working closely with Quality, Engineering, Production and Procurement
- Supporting continuous improvement activities
- Gaining exposure to inspection, assembly and customer acceptance activities
What are we looking for?
Ideally, you’ll have:
- A Degree, HND, HNC or apprenticeship in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Good communication and organisational skills
- An interest in manufacturing, Quality Assurance and continuous improvement
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- A full UK driving licence
Experience of ISO 9001, ERP/MRP systems, engineering drawings, inspection, non-conformance reporting or quality documentation would be beneficial, but isn’t essential. Training and development will be provided.
