Next Step Recruitment Solutions is working with a well-established supported living provider in London to recruit a Quality Compliance Officer. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in health and social care quality assurance who wants to make a genuine difference to the lives of adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and other complex support requirements.

You'll work closely with the Head of Quality and service managers, carrying out audits, driving up compliance standards, and helping teams turn audit findings into real improvement.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting the development and delivery of the organisation's quality improvement strategy
  • Monitoring compliance with CQC standards, internal policies and local authority contracts
  • Conducting service audits across the organisation
  • Working with service teams to build and implement improvement action plans
  • Contributing to best practice guidance, policies and procedures
  • Supporting staff training linked to quality and compliance
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports for the Quality Assurance and senior management team
  • Helping prepare for CQC inspections, local authority reviews and internal quality reviews
  • Promoting a culture of learning and continuous improvement across all services

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in a quality compliance role within health and social care (essential)
  • A solid understanding of CQC regulations and supported living frameworks
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with real attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, able to build relationships at every level
  • A genuine commitment to person-centred care

Nice to have:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or above) in Health & Social Care
  • Experience supporting services rated "Requires Improvement" to improve their audit scores
  • Knowledge of support planning, safeguarding, medication management and risk assessment
  • Experience in supported living environments
