Quality Control Technician

Premier Work Support are currently recruiting for a temporary Quality Control Technician to join our client's team. You will be responsible for carrying out quality control checks and testing to ensure raw materials, in-process products and finished goods meet the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality checks and testing on raw materials, components and finished products.
  • Carry out in-process quality control checks in line with procedures and specifications.
  • Collect, log and store QC retention samples.
  • Calibrate laboratory equipment in accordance with SOPs.
  • Review batch records and verify test results.
  • Maintain GMP standards, health and safety procedures and a clean working environment.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a quality control environment.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Computer literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and an organised, methodical approach.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and follow procedures.

Desirable: Knowledge of quality systems, manufacturing processes or first aid training.

Hours:

Monday to Friday - Rotating shifts

  • Early: 06:45 - 14:45 (Monday-Thursday), 06:45 - 13:45 (Friday)
  • Late: 14:30 - 22:30 (Monday-Thursday), 13:30-20:30 (Friday)

Pay rate:

  • £15.66 per hour
  • Weekly pay
