New Resource Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a well-established and forward-thinking manufacturing business based in Melksham in their search for a Quality Controller to join their growing team.

The Role

As a Quality Controller, you'll play a key role in ensuring products meet the highest quality standards before reaching customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Inspecting and measuring plastic moulded components.
  • Using a range of measuring equipment including Vernier callipers, micrometers, shadowgraph projectors and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
  • Producing quality documentation including First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR), Initial Sample Inspection Reports (ISIR) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation.
  • Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining quality standards throughout production.
  • Working closely with the production team to resolve quality issues.

About You

  • Previous quality inspection or quality control experience within a manufacturing environment (injection moulding experience would be advantageous but is not essential).
  • Experience using measuring equipment such as Vernier callipers and micrometers.
  • Good attention to detail with a methodical approach to work.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Full training will be provided on specialist equipment, reporting systems and quality processes where required.
