Quality Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working on behalf of a leading, innovative manufacturer to recruit a Quality Engineer to join their growing Quality & Conformance team.

Working in a modern manufacturing environment, you'll play a key role in ensuring products meet the highest quality standards while supporting continuous improvement across the business.

• Carry out incoming, in-process and final inspection activities to ensure products meet specification.
• Ensure all quality activities comply with the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Maintain and update quality documentation, including QA/QC and process records.
• Support the management of calibration activities and associated records.
• Assist with HSE reporting and compliance activities where required.
• Investigate non-conformances and support root cause analysis using structured problem-solving techniques such as 8D and 5 Why.
• Work with internal teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to verify product conformity.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate inspection and quality records.

We're looking for someone who has experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment and enjoys working in a hands-on quality role.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience in a Quality Engineer, Quality Technician or Quality Inspector role.
• Experience working within a manufacturing or precision engineering environment.
• A good understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Experience using quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why and root cause analysis.
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of calibration processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (SAP experience would be advantageous).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
• IOSH or HSE knowledge would be beneficial but is not essential.
